Zion Loop Day Trip

We are escaping the desert heat for a day trip to Zion. Out and back the same day. This will be a proper adventure ride with mostly easy gravel roads and pavement to see the sights. Most of this loop is actually Northeast of Zion. There will be some short sections rated 4/10 on OnX. Meet at the Zion Corridor Park and Ride in Virgin Utah by 8am Pacific Time (9am Mountain Time). Ignore Facebooks horrible map, see meeting location in discussion thread. It is about 2.5 hours drive (or ride) from Vegas so plan accordingly. The loop we planned is about 100 miles, with a gas station at Duck Creek (about the middle). It is about 30 paved miles from where we drop off to the starting/ending point of this loop making the full ride about 160 miles. We also pass into the park which requires a pass. Make sure to get/bring your pass. I will post links and more details in the discussion thread. We will use GMRS radio channel 5. Come prepared as usual with navigation and communication, and everything you need as far as tools, food, water, etc. This is just a casual ride and not a structured event. Everyone is fully responsible for themselves.
