Zine-Making Club: Botany

Explore hands-on zine-making at this no-experience-required session run by Speak Volumes Festival CIC.

Let's make zines inspired by plants, herbs, flowers, weeds and botany! Whether you're a keen gardener, houseplant fancier, boquet lover, etymology expert or enthusiast for Victorian flower language, this session uses scrapbooking, junk-journalling, collage and print techniques to craft a mini booklet all about what BOTANY means to you!

Chilled, laid-back vibes at the UK's most affordable zine-makers club! Make friends and get crafty at this easygoing, low-pressure and no experience necessary atmosphere.

Please note that this is a safe space for adults and therefore a child-free event.

BYO drinks or snacks, if you'd like. The session format is easy for dropping in or out at your leisure - and city centre location is ideal for grabbing a coffee nearby.

Our team are always happy to assist and accomodate crafters with sensory and mobility differences - zine-making is for EVERYONE! ☀️

With a plethora of scrapbooking supplies, mixed media and ephemera to play with, each workshop participant will leave with at least 1 original, hand-made zine!
