About this Event
Let’s make character masks inspired by Folk Tales!
As part of Speak Volumes’ Parade, this family-friendly workshop invites children (and their grown-ups!) to design and create their own character masks using cardboard, paint, coloured paper and markers. We’ll cut, stick, colour and decorate our way into the world of storytelling.
Drawing from Folk Tales, you might become a brave woodland animal, a sparkling fairy, a mischievous goblin, a towering giant, a mythical beast or even an enchanted plant from a favourite story. Who will you be?
📅 Friday, 10th April
⏰ 6:30pm-8:30pm
📍Arch 28 (The Artery Studios, Workshop Space) Worcester, WR1 3BD
♿ Step-free venue with wheelchair accessible toilet
💡Join the parade! Use decoupage, collage, painting and other techniques to decorate a nature-inspired mask. No experience needed.
This session is suitable for ages 5+. No experience needed — just big imaginations and clothes you don’t mind getting a little crafty in!
Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Parents and guardians are responsible for their child’s wellbeing during the workshop. Scissors, paint, other messy materials will be used, so adult supervision is required throughout.
Come make, play and step into your story together!
