Zine fest highlighting independent artists, with an introduction to building miniatures! Followed by a game demo for 'Forbidden Psalm.'
About this Event

Do you like zines or supporting independent artists?

Are you interested in learning how to play tabletop miniature games?

This event will blend the two ideas, offering independent artists selling/distributing zines while others build miniatures and play a game demo of the roleplay and miniature game Forbidden Psalm.

Forbidden Psalm is a fast-paced, rules-light miniature game based on the dark fantasy world & easy to learn game mechanics of the hit RPG Morkborg. In Forbidden Psalm you control a warband of five mercenaries trying to make a profit by working for the Mad Wizard Vriprix as he hunts the magical secrets that MIGHT stop Darkness from devouring the world. It's a perfect entry point for anyone curious about building & painting miniatures or curious about tabletop roleplaying games. You'll build a handful of miniatures, name them, equip them, & guide them on a perilous quest against other players and rogue monsters! By the end you'll have a totally unique warband ready for future games & stories.

Beginners encouraged and welcomed. Materials will be provided, but donations of bits or tools are accepted to create more events like this. Free and open to all to attend. The first half (approximately) will be building your miniatures, followed by the game demo where you will team up against others in the event.

The zine fest is highlighting independent art, specifically zines. Everyone is welcome to submit a table request to vend, but we request that your table consists of at least 75% zines. There is no table fee (free to vend)!

Please fill out the sign up forms below so that we can keep track of those coming. Thanks!
