Zi-Fi! and Zineoverse Launch

Come celebrate the launch of two science fiction themed zines created by the absurdly talented members of the Comics Youth Zine Collective.
About this Event

Aliens, Robots, and Monsters, on my! For a six-month period the talented group of artists who make up Comic Youth’s Zine Collective have taken inspiration from science fiction to create two out-of-this-world zines: Zi-Fi! and Zineoverse.

The zines grew out of a collaboration between the Comics Youth Zine Collective and the Science Fiction Collection at the University of Liverpool. Inside them you will fine intergalactic sausage eating contests, guides to alien monsters, and some particularly carnivorous plants.

The event will give attendees the opportunity to view and/or buy copies of the two zines and to hear the experiences of some of the creators. Speeches will begin at 1pm but feel free to drop in from 12 and hang around until 3.

Refreshments will be provided.

Please note: there are no tickets for this drop-in session. By registering, you are simply expressing your interest in attending. Spaces are allocated on a first-come-first-served basis.
