Join us for family films at the VG&M!
Our films start at 2:30pm and are either held in the Leggate Lecture Theatre on the second floor or in the Learning Suite on the ground floor of the VG&M.

A series of films for families inspired by inventors, inventions and our Lightbulb moments exhibition. Films start at 2:30pm.

Due to refurbishment works, our lift will be out of service from 23 June 2026 until 3 August 2026.
The film will be screened in the Learning Suite on the ground floor of the VG&M and numbers will be limited for this screening.

Booking information
The event is free but booking is recommended.
Depending on the location of the film, there may be some availability for walk-ins but this cannot be guaranteed on the day.

Seating/bean bags will be allocated on a first-come-first-served basis with limited capacity.
Refreshments
Food and drink are not permitted in the Leggate Theatre but we do allow water. Lunch and snacks may be consumed on the ground floor in the Waterhouse Cafe.
