🎻✨ Join us for a Concert in the Dark experience featuring the songs of Led Zeppelin, plus originals inspired by Zeppelin and others from that time period, performed by Will Taylor and Strings Attached with violin, cello, guitar, percussion and surprises 🎶, accompanied by the warm glow of candlelight 🕯️ outside under the stars.

This is a different kind of concert, beginning and ending in darkness, with live music and a poem or two wrapping around you like a cozy blanket, soothing your soul.

For over 35 years, thousands of discerning experience-seekers have stepped into the imaginative world of Will Taylor, delighting in performances that blur boundaries, awaken the senses, and reveal music in unforgettable, unexpected ways.

WHAT TO BRING

• Yoga mat and/or pillows if you have a on the grass ticket

Free Cacao will be served at the beginning of the event for everyone.

School Yard Dogs will be on site for food before and during the event.

• You've never once let a piece of music wash over you in the dark and felt something stir in your chest
• You are a proud Led Zeppelin purist who believes those songs belong only on vinyl, played loud — certainly not reborn through an acoustic guitar, a singing violin, a warm cello, and the heartbeat of percussion in an intimate room
• The idea of sitting quietly in the dark while acoustic guitar and strings reimagine "Kashmir" sounds less like magic and more like a scheduling conflict
• Original music born from the Zeppelin vibe, strikes you as a perfectly valid sleep aid
• You prefer your rock legends safely in the past, not drawn out note by note on a cello or violin just a few feet away from your face
• The thought of a violin doing something to "Whole Lotta Love" makes you deeply nervous

I've been a professional violinist and Austin music icon for over 20 years, jamming with folks such as Willie Nelson, Pearl Jam, Gary Clark Jr., Shawn Colvin, Shiny Ribs, Guy Forsyth, the Turtle Island String Quartet at Town Hall in New York City and so many more. I'm a lover of the outdoors and the magic of bringing people into nature for life-changing moments of connection and musical bliss. I have been a concert presenter for over 30 years and in 2006 produced a concert of the Beatles White Album that was broadcast on radio and drew over 1600 folks for two shows. Two time Austin Music Award Winner, and Best of Austin Finalist in 2022, and Winner in 2024

Award Winning Film Composer for the Film

Tony is a cellist, educator, performer, arranger and composer.

He performs regularly with The Austin Piazzolla Quintet, The Waterloo Trio, Jenifer Jackson, the multi-genre group Strings Attached, performs weddings on weekends, and onstage with symphonies, playing 70 public performances per year, teaches a few hundred lessons and directs the Austin Cello Choir every week on Tuesday evenings for cellists of all levels. In his spare time he organizes chamber reading sessions.

What is Concerts in the Dark all about?

Concerts in the Dark offers a unique and transformative way to experience acoustic music by reducing or completely eliminating light, giving the listener the opportunity to immerse themselves entirely in the experience.

This innovative series celebrates the purity and intimacy of acoustic music, creating an environment where every note, rhythm, and resonance takes center stage. By tuning out visual distractions, audiences are invited to engage their senses more deeply, fostering a profound connection with the music and its emotional core.

Most of our concerts include a short meditation at the beginning. At some events, guests bring blankets and/or pillows, and sit or lie on the floor to experience the music in a relaxing posture, while the musicians walk around the room.

🚗 Parking?

Parkin will be on site at the farm.

👤 Are children welcome?

Kids are welcome! For this show, everyone needs a ticket but, anyone under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Please keep in mind that this is an event where the focus is on the music, and might include meditation. So we value peace and an environment of non-disruption for all that are paying to have this experience. This isn't a club atmosphere where there is talking over the music. That being so, we do have a separate area where you can take the kids if they or you need a break.

Is this a sober event? YES! No Drugs/Alcohol, Smoking, No Phones, No Camera/Video, and No Scents please

Can I volunteer to get in free?

Yes, we have 6 positions for volunteers that begin 1 hour before the event and include helping set up the space, checking people in and cleaning up after the event is done
