Zentangle Drawing Workshop

Join us at our Zentangle® workshop (adults only) with Certified Zentangle Instructor, Paula Kelly, for a relaxing and mindful art session, where you will have the freedom and support to unwind and get creative using the Zentangle Method of guided drawing.

The Zentangle Method is an easy-to-learn, relaxing and fun way to create beautiful images by drawing structured patterns. To learn more about Zentangle on to Zentangle.com.

People who are new to Zentangle are welcome to this class, but we will be introducing some more complex patterns and types of Zentangle tiles, including PHI, Zendalas and Bijou. With a choice of colours and even a translucent Zendala, a set of these special 5 tiles is included in the workshop price.

Pens and pencils will be available for you to use in the class.

Alternatively, if you are new to Zentangle you might want to purchase one of our 'Zentangle Starter' kits for £15 which will then be available for you to take home to continue making your own collection of tiles, along with the additional special tiles. The starter set includes a canvas pencil case, black graphite and white chalk pencils, pencil sharpener, fine black and brown pens, a white Sakura gel pen and 6 regular Zentangle tiles so you only need to bring yourself! This starter set can be pre-ordered when purchasing the workshop ticket.

The workshop will take place upstairs in the Kemptown Bookshop. Freshly-ground White Cloud coffee, a pot of Bird and Blend loose leaf tea, or a hot chocolate, and a piece of our fine cakes, are included in the price for the session.
