V impozantním secesním sále knihovny Solvay v parku Leopold zazní klenoty české kvartetní tvorby:
Bedřich Smetana: Smyčcový kvartet č. 1 e moll "Z mého života"
Leoš Janáček: Smyčcový kvartet č. 2
Tento koncert je součástí širší prezentace festivalu, kterou doprovází výstava o životě a tvorbě Leoše Janáčka v prostorách Evropského parlamentu (14.–17. dubna 2026), vytvořená ve spolupráci s TIC Brno.
Koncert se koná ve spolupráci s našimi partnery: České centrum Brusel, Stálé zastoupení ČR při EU, Zastoupení Jihomoravského kraje při EU a Edificio, pod záštitou europoslance Ondřeje Krutílka.

For the first time, the Janáček Brno Festival crosses borders to bring a taste of its unique atmosphere to the capital of Europe.
Before Brno resounds with the complete opera cycle by Leoš Janáček this October and November, we invite you to an extraordinary musical experience in Brussels. As part of a concert series in prestigious European metropolises, the internationally acclaimed Zemlinsky Quartet will perform at the Bibliothèque Solvay.

Program: In the impressive Art Nouveau hall of the Bibliothèque Solvay in Leopold Park, gems of Czech quartet music will be performed:
Bedřich Smetana: String Quartet No. 1 in E minor, "From My Life"
Leoš Janáček: String Quartet No. 2, "Intimate Letters"
This concert is part of a broader festival presentation, accompanied by an exhibition on the life and work of Leoš Janáček in the European Parliament (14–17 April 2026), created in cooperation with TIC Brno.
The concert is held in cooperation with our partners: Czech Centre Brussels, Permanent Representation of the Czech Republic to the EU, Representation of the South Moravian Region to the EU, and Edificio, under the auspices of Member of the European Parliament Ondřej Krutílek.
