About this Event
Join us for a hands-on afternoon of conservation at the Cosumnes River Preserve from 4:00–5:30 PM! Youth volunteers will help plant native, pollinator-friendly plants around the Visitor Center, creating important habitat for butterflies, bees, and other beneficial insects. These native plants beautify the landscape while supporting the health of our local ecosystem.
After planting, participants will enjoy a short interpretive walk through the wetlands to see how pollinators, plants, birds, and water are all connected in this unique habitat. This guided walk helps bring our restoration work to life and shows how even small actions can make a big difference for wildlife.
Come ready to get your hands dirty, learn something new, and help support local pollinators!
