YOUTH TAKING FLIGHT - AEROSPACE AND AVIATION SUMMER CAMP

Youth Taking Flight is a grass roots organization providing engaging learning experiences for youth ages 12 - 19 in the fields of STEM, Aerospace and Aviation and promoting youth participation in every aspect of program planning and delivery.

Youth Taking Flight was created to encourage greater diversity and increased participation of youth, as well as young women, in the fields of STEM, Aviation and Aerospace and in response to the growing demand for grads in these industries.

We hope to achieve the following:

1. To equip young people to become lifelong learners and develop essential and transferable 21st century skills, to succeed in a rapidly changing, globalized economy.
2. To provide affordable/ subsidized programs that will encourage participation of youth regardless of economic status.

• Special Guest Aerospace & Aviation
• (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) STEM Professionals.
• Mission to Mars Challenge
• STEM Challenges
• In-class Sessions
• Field Trips
• Space Travel
• Flight Simulator Instructional
• In-field Flight experience and More...

Daily refreshments are provided as well as bus transportation to all field trips.

(Please Note: Participants are responsible to pay entrance fee for all field trips.)
