🌲 Raising the next generation of land stewards… 🌿✨ NEW PROGRAM✨
What if youth could spend their Saturdays learning real-life skills—
not from a screen, but from the land itself?
We’re inviting a small group of youth (ages 8–12) to join us for a 6-week immersive stewardship program at Pend d’Oreille River Ranch.
✨ What they’ll experience:
Each week explores a different aspect of nature, life skills, and stewardship:
🌱 Rooted Purpose — connection to land, soil, and living systems
💧 Water & Life — explore the lake, creek & beaver ecosystem 🦫
🌬️ Awareness & Connection — horse experience + presence 🐴
🔥 Fire & Transformation — fire building or nature-based creations
🌿 Food & Self-Sufficiency — foraging + where food comes from
🛠️ Stewardship & Giving Back — build birdhouses + leave a legacy
This is not school outside.
This is life skills through nature.
A fully off-grid, hands-on experience where youth build confidence, responsibility, and a real connection to the world around them.
🧭 Program Details:
• Ages 8–12
• 6 Saturdays | May 23 – June 27
• 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM
• Small group: 8–12 youth
• Pack a healthy lunch
• Located just outside Salmo
💰 Investment:
Sliding scale: $240 – $360 for the full program
($40–$60 per session)
