YWCA Quad Cities is bringing local youth together for an evening of connection, conversation, and support through a free Youth Mental Health Forum on Wednesday, May 28, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m at YWCA (513 17th st, Rock Island, IL).Hosted by ThePlace2B, the event is open to youth ages 13–18 throughout the community. The forum is designed to create a safe and welcoming environment where young people can openly discuss mental health, share their experiences, and connect with supportive peers and adults.
The evening will feature engaging breakout sessions, open discussions, and interactive opportunities focused on a variety of important topics, including grief, mental health in athletics, coping mechanisms, and more. Participants will also hear from a keynote speaker representing The Gray Matters Collective.
Additional community collaborators include Young Lions Roar, and Delivered QC.
