Youth Mario Kart Tournament

Welcome all Mario Kart enthusiasts to the ultimate showdown at Kora Temple! Get ready to put your racing skills to the test in this thrilling in-person event. Compete against other youth players in a fun and friendly atmosphere. Show off your driving abilities and aim to cross the finish line first. Join us for a day filled with excitement, competition, and of course, lots of Mario Kart action. Don't miss out on this epic tournament!

Youth Mario Kart Tournament on Nintendo Switch. Double elimination. Time trials and a costume contest with prizes.

WHEN
- Friday, October 25
- Doors open 12:00 PM
- Racing starts 12:30 PM

WHERE
- Kora Shrine Center
11 Sabattus St, Lewiston, ME

WHO CAN PLAY
- Youth under 18 only. Capacity 100 players.

COST
- $10 per player

PRIZES
- 500 dollars total across tournament, time trials, and costume contest

WHAT’S INCLUDED
- Pizza, snacks, and drinks
- All equipment provided. No need to bring a Switch or controllers.

TOURNAMENT FORMAT
- Double elimination bracket
- Nintendo Switch platform
- Engine class increases as you advance through stages
- Standard rules used across stations
- Match officials will make final calls to keep play moving

SIDE EVENTS
- Time Trials with prizes
- Costume contest: come dressed as your favorite Mario Kart character for a chance to win

SUPERVISION POLICY
- Supervision is required for all players the entire time they are on site. Any player without a supervising adult will be asked to leave and forfeits entry.

CHECK IN
- Arrive at 12:00 PM to check in
- Brackets are locked shortly before the 12:30 PM start
- Late arrivals may be placed on a waitlist if space opens

CODE OF CONDUCT
- Be respectful. No harassment or taunting.
- Use only the event equipment and settings provided.
- Staff may remove anyone who ignores rules or disrupts play. No refunds for removals.
