The Drayton Entertainment Youth Academy is holding auditions for two performance opportunities this fall. On July 26th, youth performers are invited to audition for the Children's Chorus of Snow White and the Seven Tenors: a Panto and the Advanced Musical Theatre Company. Due to scheduling, students may choose to be considered for both programs during their audition, but can only be cast in one.
The Children’s Chorus of Drayton Entertainment’s production of Snow White and the Seven Tenors, for ages 8-15, is an exciting opportunity that invites young performers to step into a world of fairy-tale adventure, music, and larger-than-life fun as part of a joyful, high-energy show designed to delight audiences of all ages. As a member of the children’s chorus, performers will work alongside professional artists, gain valuable stage experience, and be part of a beloved theatrical tradition that celebrates creativity, teamwork, and confidence.
The Advanced Musical Theatre Company, for ages 10 - 18, focuses on advanced training in acting, vocal performance, dance, storytelling, stage presence, and ensemble work. Through an intensive rehearsal process led by industry professionals, students will be challenged to grow as performers, while gaining valuable life skills and theatre experience. As part of this year’s program, participants will work toward a fully staged production of Disney’s Descendants: The Musical, the energetic stage adaptation inspired by the hit Disney Channel films.
