You're Never Alone; A Day of Hope, Prevention & Peer Support
About this Event
You're Never Alone: A Day of Hope, Prevention & Peer Support
Join us for a powerful one-day event dedicated to suicide prevention, hope, connection, and peer support within the first responder community. This conference is open to all first responders and their families and is designed to bring people together through meaningful conversations, shared experiences, education, and practical resources.
Throughout the day, you’ll hear from inspiring speakers, connect with others who understand the unique challenges faced by first responders and their families, and learn ways we can better support ourselves, our coworkers, and the people we care about.
The conference will also include FREE QPR (Question, Persuade, Refer) Suicide Prevention Training. QPR teaches participants how to recognize the warning signs of a suicide crisis, start a conversation with someone who may be struggling, and help connect that person with appropriate support and resources. Like CPR, QPR is designed to give everyday people practical skills they can use when someone may need help.
You don’t need to be a mental health professional to make a difference. Sometimes simply knowing what to look for, what to say, and where to turn for help can change the course of someone’s life.
Come as you are. Learn. Connect. Support one another. Leave with knowledge, resources, and hope.
Different uniforms. Different roles. One community. You Are Not Alone.
