Welcome to my Sound Bath Meditation sessions! My name is Laura and I am a Sound Healer and Music Therapist.
Sound Baths are an opportunity for you to relax and unwind in a comfortable and holistic space surrounded by the healing vibrations of a variety of instruments. In my practice I focus on using crystal singing bowls, Tibetan metal singing bowls, kochi chimes, sonic energy chimes, water instruments, dragon frequency energy healing tubes and other relaxing sounds to help aid meditation and full body healing.
Sessions take place in groups and at this venue we have a special session for youngsters aged 7-14 (single ticket £12) where they can be suspended in a hammock and taught comfortable positions to lie in to achieve a deep sense of relaxation whilst floating amongst the sounds.
This session is fully accessible for children of all abilities and sensory needs, especially helpful for those with ADHD and autism as the vibrations help to relax the mind. This will be a very flexible session where the needs of each child will be prioritised. There will be a mat or hammock for each child and for just £3 an adult can choose to accompany them and also enjoy the session which is a relaxing magical session for all. If they are confident to stay on their own they are very welcome to. If you'd like to bring an additional Parent/guardian these tickets are just £5 which offers a great discount on a normal adult session which are usually £13 each. As part of the youngsters session there is time at the end for the children to come and explore the instruments, showing them how to make sounds for each other and their parents/ guardians who can take this opportunity to try out the hammocks and experience this wonderful relaxing and interactive opportunity with their family.
Each session begins with a short guided meditation evoking different imagery to calm our minds to be truly receptive to the sounds.
Sessions are held in a warm and cosy environment where there will also be sensory lights to help aid your relaxation, and lighting will be dimmed.
This session is held at The Pole Shed in Littleport, 10 minutes from Ely. There is plenty of parking available and this room is fully accessible on the ground floor. More sessions will be available at other dates in the future. As Google maps often lists this address incorrectly please turn off the A10 on to Oak Lane opposite the Grange lane exit into Littleport. Then turn right onto Woodfen road. Turn left onto oak lane business park when you see the big metal shed on the left and drive on the right side of them for a couple of units until you see The Pole Shed.

As sessions are conducted with individuals lying on the foam mats / floor cushions or in hammocks please do consider whether this is suitable for you if you have any problems with lying down. It is also suitable to be seated if this is not possible, do pop me over a message so that I can prioritise your comfort.
Please note all bookings are non-refundable and in most cases bookings cannot be transferred to another date so please double check your availability.
