About this Event

Meeting point - Old potting shed, the compound next to the car park. What3Words///form.cage.drip

We have teamed up with Newcastle City Council to have young people (ages 16+) focused practical conservation sessions.

Book on if you want to make a difference in a local park and meet some like-minded people🧑‍🤝‍👨

Help support the rangers with the upkeep of the park, cutting back growth, keeping paths clear for visitors to enjoy, and spend some time in a green space for your own wellbeing 😁

This event will be a practical hands on session where we may use tools, which will all be provided. Please wear footwear for uneven ground and closed toe shoes with sturdy ankle! Any one aged 17 or under will need parental permission to book on. No previous experience is needed and tools/PPE will be provided. The only essential requirement is a willingness to work hard as part of a team and being a decent human being! You may like to bring snacks and bottle of water with you! If you can no longer attend please let us know as the places are limited!

This event is possible through our Championing Nature programme thanks to Emirates and Wimbledon.
