Come experience the joy of flight at EAA Chapter 1687’s Young Eagles rally! Kids ages 8-17 can learn about aviation and go for a free flight around the Tehachapi valley! REGISTRATION: PRE-REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED.

Registration will open Monday, April 20, at 12:00am. Capacity is based on the number of available volunteer pilots.
TIME: May 30th, 8:00am – 12:00pm. Flights will be scheduled at registration. Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your scheduled timeslot for check in. Children must be accompanied by the legal guardian who registered them.
LOCATION: Aviator Park, Tehachapi Municipal Airport. Please enter via the event entrance at the corner of Hayes St and I St. Proceed east past the hangars to Aviator Park for check in.
ATTIRE: Close-toed shoes are required. Sun protection is highly recommended.
PLEASE NOTE:
- Everyone here representing Young Eagles is a volunteer. The pilots pay for fuel and maintenance for their aircraft in order to provide this opportunity to the Young Eagles. Please treat the volunteers, pilots, and the aircraft with respect.
- EAA Chapter 1687 reserves the right to refuse flights to anyone for misconduct, safety concerns, etc.
