Explore backyard birds along the trails at Hawk Woods Park in Auburn Hills. Learn about opportunities to participate in counting birds for science. November marks the start of the 39th season of Project FeederWatch. In addition, the National Audubon Society’s Christmas Bird Count will take place in December.
Hawk Woods is an 80-acre community park that has several habitats including a dynamic hardwood forest. Auburn Hills Program coordinator Ally Maye-Bloom will join the hike and share information about the Park. Plan to hike and be outdoors.
