beav.es/DCbeesJoin the Douglas County Small Farms Program and Umpqua Valley Beekeepers Association for this year's Spring Beekeepers Academy "You, Me, and the Bees" a hands-on full scope learning experience for all things honey bee. You'll get an intro to beekeeping, learn about hive dynamics, how to harvest the honey, marketing, winterization, and even get a hands-on day of hive management (hive dive).
Full schedule:
March 14 | 10am to 12pm
April 11 | 10am to 12pm
June 13 | 9am to 12pm (Field day/hive dive)
July 11 | 9am to 12pm
Lunch will be provided on 3/14, 4/11, and 7/11.
$100/per person, UVBA members receive a $25 discount
