York River State Park- Girl Scouts Love State Parks Weekend

Every year, on the second weekend of September, Girl Scouts across the nation host special events and provide activities to celebrate and foster a love for our state parks.

Join Girl Scouts of the Colonial Coast at York River State Park ( 9801 York River Park Road, Williamsburg, VA) on Saturday, September 13, 2025, from 10 am until 12 pm, for outdoor activities, to meet rangers, and to see fun nature displays.

Not a Girl Scout? You can still join in on Girl Scouts Love State Parks Weekend! We welcome girls K-12 and their families who are interested in learning more about Girl Scouts to attend our FREE Girl Scouts Love State Parks program. Pick up your free welcome packet and patch at check-in and then explore the park like a Girl Scout as you enjoy activities. There is a $5.00 parking fee per car to be paid at the park.
