About this Event

Welcome to the York and North Yorkshire Local Skills Improvement Fund Project Showcase.

Join us for a day filled with displays and presentations highlighting the activities our further education colleges and providers are undertaking to meet the skills needs in York and North Yorkshire.

You will be able to learn firsthand about the Mayor of York and North Yorkshire’s vision for skills in the region. You will also see and hear how investments in industry standard equipment and capacity building, supported by DfE's Local Skills Improvement Fund, are helping employers in key sectors such as Health and Social Care and Digital Technologies to upskill their current and future staff.

The event will be held at the Pavilions Of Harrogate, where you can network with fellow skills stakeholders, try out some of the training innovations, and learn about new courses that will make a difference to our region's workforce and businesses.
