YONKS is a rock band based in Providence, RI, and their overall vibe can be described as “c*nty cowgirl rock.” They enjoy making music people can relate to and connect with, providing a cathartic experience for their audience. While some songs may sound incredibly different from the next, YONKS has enjoyed trying out different genres and sounds. Through their music, they hope to make people feel seen and empowered. Olivia Dolphin is a Providence-based singer-songwriter blending piano-driven pop with a touch of "witch-pop" magic. Inspired by her classical music education and literary background, her songs explore themes of relationships, self-reflection, and community. Olivia’s music is characterized by dynamic melodies, poetic lyrics, and emotional storytelling, drawing comparisons to artists like Brandi Carlile, Ingrid Michaelson, and Tori Amos.
Marou is a singer-songwriter whose music blends haunting melodies with introspective storytelling. Starting with the ukulele before transitioning to guitar, her songs often explore personal growth, relationships, and self-reflection. Her journey into music took off in college, where she overcame her fear of performing, finding confidence in open mics and local shows. Inspired by artists like Matt Corby and supported by a tight-knit music community, MAROU’s heartfelt lyrics capture the highs and lows of love, self-discovery, and the bonds that shape her. Now performing regularly in Providence, she continues to carve her path in music, staying true to her emotions and experiences.
