About this Event

Join Daphne or Cindy for Yoga every Monday at 4:30 pm

Daphne teaches Ashtanga Vinyasa; Cindy teaches Vinyasa Flow with Sound elements.

All levels are welcome, from those completely new to Yoga to experienced practitioners looking to refine their practice.

Ashtanga Vinyasa with Daphne

This class offers an introduction to the Ashtanga Vinyasa yoga system in the traditional lineage of T. Krishnamacharya and Sri K. Pattabhi Jois. Students will learn an abbreviated primary series that emphasizes the foundational elements of the practice: synchronized breath and movement (vinyasa) and focused gaze (drishti). Each class begins and ends with traditional Sanskrit mantras. The session moves through a set sequence of postures linked by breath, cultivating both physical strength and meditative awareness. Students are encouraged to work at their own pace, honoring their body's needs while exploring the edges of their capacity.

Vinyasa Flow + Sound Journey with Cindy

This class moves through a fluid vinyasa flow guided by breath, intentional sequencing, and an ambient sound journey. Each class builds gradually, offering space to explore, soften, and reconnect with your body. Expect an immersive practice that balances movement and stillness, leaving you grounded, open, and restored.

These classes are offered by donation.

Daphne Demekas

Daphne received her Ashtanga certification at One Breath of Yoga in Mexico, studying under Coco (Corinne Lepage). Coco trained in Mysore, India with V. Sheshadri in the traditional lineage of T. Krishnamacharya and Sri K. Pattabhi Jois, and later completed an apprenticeship with Michael Gannon.

Daphne's classes honor the traditional elements of the practice: opening and closing mantras, attention to breath (ujjayi pranayama), and drishti (focused gaze). She teaches an abbreviated primary series accessible to all levels, welcoming both newcomers to Ashtanga and those looking to deepen an existing practice.

Cindy Leow

Cindy is an entrepreneur and yoga teacher at heart. She is the co-founder of NARA Movement and Wellness. She completed her 200-hour YTT at Alchemy Yoga in Bali. Her teaching blends fluid vinyasa, thoughtful sequencing, and immersive sound to create a practice that feels grounding and expansive.
