Along the way, notice what’s happening in your body and how you’re feeling, building natural and fun awareness for kids and adults alike. This is a relaxed, come-as-you-are space where curiosity is welcome and participation can take many different forms.
Bring a yoga mat, towel, or blanket to practice on if you’d like, or just join us on the grass.
Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Adult Yoga with Columbia City Yoga
When: Friday & Saturday, 9:30–10:30amWhere: North Meadow
Start your day in the North Meadow with an outdoor practice that meets you where you are, whether you’re waking up slow, stretching out after a long day of music, or simply wanting a moment to drop in and breathe.
At its core, yoga is a practice of paying attention, noticing what’s here, and responding with more awareness and care. Move and breathe in a way that supports that, helping you feel more grounded, more at ease, and a little more connected to yourself and the natural surroundings of Tolt-MacDonald Park. Expect a thoughtful mix of grounding and movement, all shared in good company.
Come as you are. Readily accessible for beginners, with options for more experienced practitioners. Bring whatever helps you feel comfortable practicing on the grass, whether that’s a yoga mat, blanket, towel, or nothing at all.
