Yoga Mamma Prenatal course starting Thursday 24 October, 6-7.15pm at the Adaptive Health Centre Leopold.
Meet other Mamma’s, take time out and learn skills to breathe well, reduce tension and nurture yourself. Feel more relaxed and connected to yourself and your baby within. Support your body and pelvic floor. You don’t need to feel fit and injuries can be supported with poses adjusted to suit all. I’ve had 100’s of Mamma’s join my group over the last 12 years I’ve been teaching and prenatal is my specialty - you’re safe with me.
Cost is $180 for 6 weeks and will continue into 25!

YOGA MAMMA PRENATAL YOGA
Yoga Mamma prenatal yoga is a gentle and effective way to maintain and build your strength and tone and practice techniques to feel calm in preparation for birth.
My focus is helping you to practice self-care and keep physically and emotionally strong while you’re pregnant and importantly, post-birth and beyond.
The sessions follow a sequence of poses that are stretching, strengthening and toning to help you maintain your strength and stability, reduce tension and feel more relaxed, but also feel more energised in preparation for birth and beyond. It’s yoga (and more) that is supporting, nourishing and sensitive to a woman who is pregnant.
Each week you will learn skills to release tension, breathe well, quieten your thoughts, alleviate fear, sleep better and feel calm. It will help you to think more clearly and be more present, so that you can make the right decisions for you and your baby when you need to.
This will also help you to come to terms with your growing body and as the days get closer to your birth, to accept and feel less fear of the unknown and trust that your body and baby know what to do. Therefore, giving your body and baby the best opportunity to birth, recover and generate breast milk for your little one. The sessions work and you will experience feeling calm, improved flexibility, movement, posture, pelvic floor strength and relief from any symptoms of pregnancy such as aching backs, hips and shoulders.
Don’t worry if you haven’t done yoga before. I’ve been teaching for 12 years, so you’re safe with me and everything is explained slowly. I also accommodate injuries or any other concerns. Your only prerequisite is being 12 weeks in your pregnancy.

All equipment provided including thick, high-quality mats, blankets, blocks and bolsters for your comfort. Please wear comfortable clothes and bring a drink bottle.
The studio has great amenities and there is plenty of parking.
