Welcome to Chair Yoga @ Yoga Mamma!When: THUR - 10-11AM

Cost: $100 for 5 weeks (8 weeks to use them from date of purchase unless by prior arrangement).

Places available now to join a fabulous and friendly group every THURS morning.
The sessions focus on cultivating strength, stability and movement through the yoga poses done with the support of the chair. We also use resistance bands to build upper body strength and tone. That means you can join even if you find it difficult to move up and down from the floor, because you won't need to do that.
It's suitable for all - beginners, if you're experienced with yoga and need a bit of support for whatever reason and those who have limited balance and mobility.
From the start of the term, we will build up slowly to build strength, flexibility and movement. That way you can progress with support and guidance to slowly build STRENGTH, BALANCE, SKILLS, MOVEMENT, FLEXIBILITY and TONE and RECOVER and SUPPORT any injuries.
The breathing, meditation and self-care practices will help you to BREATHE well, RELEASE tension, QUIETEN thoughts, MANAGE fear and anxiety and help you to feel more CONNECTED to what's happening in your body. Hopefully you will feel more RELAXED, INVIGORATED and ALIVE!
There will also be a focus on pelvic floor and core.
Please wear comfortable clothes and bring a drink bottle.
The studio has great amenities and there is plenty of parking.
I'm a senior teacher of 12 years, trauma informed and can accommodate all types of injuries and concerns. I have an open, mindful approach with a focus on breath, self-awareness and building and maintaining strength with care. I enjoy sound toning, the energetic aspects of yoga and meditation and the lifelong pursuit of learning to know yourself through these practices and life. There isn't a body that I'm unable to support with yoga, mindfulness, breathing and movement. It's my passion to help people to improve their physical and mental well-being, and consequently their quality of life.
