In this specialised yoga class, guided by Jo, an experienced yoga teacher and registered nurse, you will embark on an enlightening journey of self-discovery and feminine wisdom.
You will explore the profound connection between yoga practice and women's health and learn to honour and work with your body's natural rhythms and cycles.
Each 90-minute session thoughtfully weaves together:
• Mindful asana practice adapted to support different phases of your menstrual cycle and various life stages
• Gentle movement sequences that nurture hormonal balance and feminine energy
• Restorative poses designed specifically for women's health and wellbeing
• Practical wisdom combining traditional yoga philosophy with modern healthcare understanding
This class empowers you to develop a deeper understanding of your body's innate wisdom, teaching you how to adapt your practice throughout all stages of your wombhood journey, from menstruation to perimenopause and beyond.
This class is open to all women in our community and no previous experience is necessary. All equipment is provided. The class is adaptable with minimal need to get up and down from the floor.
