Yoga for body connection
This class is now 60 minutes, giving us more time to arrive and settle, more time to explore sensation and movement without rushing, and more time for the rest and integration that are an essential part of the practice.
At the heart of this class is something simple:
You are the choice-maker here.
This is a slow, gentle practice led through trauma-informed principles. As your teacher, I stay anchored and steady—offering guidance and opportunities to explore, never pressure.
You might move.
You might pause.
You might choose something different.
You might spend a good portion of class resting on the floor.
All of those are practice.
There are no hands-on assists and no expectation that your body needs to make a particular shape. Instead, we practice noticing sensation, making choices, and becoming curious about what your body is communicating.
You'll find plenty of support waiting for you—bolsters, blankets, blocks, chairs, weighted props, and lots of permission to use them. This class is especially welcoming to people who haven't felt comfortable or supported in traditional yoga spaces, bodies that need additional support, and nervous systems that are asking for a slower pace.
You do not need to identify with trauma to benefit from this practice, and you never need to share your story.
Just bring the body you have and the experience you're having that day.
I'll hold the room.
You get to explore what happens within it.
60 minutes | Donation-based | No yoga experience needed | All bodies welcome
Come reconnect. Come get curious. Come rest.
I'm so ready to welcome you back.
