LewisJoin Suzanne Kerr for a 90 minute yoga practice specifically targeting how to move for a happy spine, neck, and back. This event wonderfully complements Suzanne's recent educational Yoga for Spine Health Workshops and puts many of those teachings into physical practice. Prior attendance of Spine workshop not required, everyone can benefit from this practice!
Yoga is one of the best ways to keep your body healthy, especially your spine. But when there is back pain how best can you move through your yoga practice to reduce or eliminate pain? Create long lasting changes in your body to return to a place of health for today & tomorrow.
In this practice we will:
-Learn how to prepare your body for yoga class.
-Gain new body movements for yoga practice allowing you to move safely & without pain.
-Move through deep tissue strengthening and nerve flossing expanding health & wellness.
-Work through this spine focused asana in your body & mind to enable you to be comfortable transitioning what you learn to other yoga classes you attend.
Suzanne Kerr is an E-RYT 200, RYT 500, a Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Provider (YACEP), and a Yoga Medicine Therapeutic Specialist. Suzanne has always loved helping people move through challenges & having wonderful “ah ha” moments of new understandings about themselves and everything around them through the many facets of yoga.
