Experience anatomy through guided practice, allowing you to feel each muscle in action.
Learn how functional anatomy supports alignment, safety, and effectiveness in asana.

This training is designed to make anatomy accessible, embodied, and directly relevant to yoga teachers.

Physiology & Biomechanics (12hrs)
This module bridges yoga’s ancient wisdom with modern science. Together we will:
Review the major systems of the body (circulatory, respiratory, nervous, endocrine, etc.) through the lens of yoga practice.
Understand how these systems interact and support the arc of a vinyasa sequence.
Explore biomechanics — how movement patterns, joints, and tissues respond to yoga.
Connect physiology to the 8-limbed path, blending philosophy and science.
Teachers will leave with a deeper understanding of the body as an interconnected system, empowering you to guide students with both wisdom and safety.
