Our monthly Yin Yoga class includes a beautiful, soothing Yoga Nidra meditation at the end of the practice. Yin Yoga is deeply relaxing, meditative, and wonderful for relieving stress. As we release the fascia and connective tissue in the body, the tension will also ease away from the mind and emotions, leaving you feeling relaxed and renewed. We have mats and props available for your use, or you can bring your own.
Following the Yin sequence of poses, enjoy a guided Yoga Nidra meditation to help you feel relaxed, centered, and peaceful. Yoga Nidra is nicknamed “divine sleep” as it provides benefits similar to a good night of solid rest, and transports us to a place somewhere between sleeping and wakefulness.
The cost for this event is suggested donation of $10-15 or what you are able to afford.
Although Yin Yoga is not as physically demanding as a flow yoga class, please contact me in advance if you have not attended one of our yoga classes previously, as well as if you have any medical conditions or specific mobility limitations which may require accommodations.
Mats, blankets and props are provided and will be set up in advance for your use. Please wear warm and comfortable clothing.
