Yin Yoga + Sound Bath with Alyssa + Terrel

Join us in person for a Yin Yoga and Sound Bath experience led by Alyssa + Terrel. This offering is designed to support rest, nervous system regulation, and deep listening through stillness, breath, and sound.

Yin Yoga is a slow, floor-based practice with long-held postures that gently stress the connective tissues, support joint health, and invite the body into a parasympathetic state. Poses are held for several minutes at a time, allowing space to soften effort, cultivate awareness, and observe sensation without force.

The practice is paired with a live sound bath, using instruments such as crystal bowls, chimes, and other resonant tones. Sound is offered throughout the experience to support relaxation, mental clarity, and a sense of integration.

This class is accessible to all levels, including beginners. The atmosphere is calm, supportive, and non-performative, offering space to slow down and reconnect with yourself.

Yin is practiced entirely on the floor, and cozy clothing and extra layers or blankets are encouraged. The room will be naturally warmer following our more active class Yoga Sport, supporting ease and comfort as the body settles into stillness.

The studio is fully stocked with mats and props, including bolsters, blankets, blocks, and straps. You’re also welcome to bring any personal items that help you feel supported, such as socks or an eye covering.

This offering is ideal for anyone seeking deep rest, recovery, and a grounding complement to more active practices.
