Come join us for an hour of juicy Yin Yoga practice and a guided meditation to reset and recharge your body and nervous system.

• What is Yin Yoga?
  Yin Yoga is a gentle and introspective practice that involves holding passive poses for a few minutes, typically 3 to 5. Focused on deep stretching and relaxation, it targets the connective tissues, promoting flexibility and releasing tension. With an emphasis on stillness and mindfulness, Yin Yoga encourages you to explore sensations and cultivate a sense of inner calm and presence. Its welcoming and nurturing approach makes it accessible to students of all levels, offering a space for self-discovery, restoration, and holistic well-being.

  - Yoga Mat
  - Water bottle
  - Props, if you have them - blocks, bolster, strap
  
• Do I need to have any experience in yoga?
  Short answer is no. Long answer: Yin yoga is suitable for people of all ages and abilities, including beginners, people who want to balance intense workouts, and people with health concerns or injuries. It can help calm the mind, stretch the body, and increase flexibility and strength. Yin yoga can also help with energy levels, posture, stress levels, emotions, body aches, and sleep.
