Yin Yoga + Live Sound Bath Workshop

We'll begin with a guided yin practice: long-held, supported postures that invite the body to soften and release tension stored in the connective tissue and fascia. Yin works slowly and intentionally, making it a very effective practice for calming an overactive nervous system.
The second half of the evening is a full sound bath. You'll rest comfortably while live instruments (Himalayan and crystal singing bowls, crystal flute, chimes, etc.) are played around you. Sound vibration works on a somatic level, gently guiding the brain out of its alert, high-functioning state and into something quieter and more restorative. Together, yin and sound create the conditions for a level of rest most of us rarely access.
Meghan Cornett is a 500-hour certified yoga teacher, trauma-informed practitioner, somatic coach, and sound meditation facilitator. A classically trained flautist with a Bachelor of Music from McGill University, Meghan brings both formal musical training and a deep understanding of nervous system science to every session she leads.
No prior experience needed. All levels are welcome.
What to expect:

- Brief guided body scan and breathwork to open the practice

- Yoga mat
- Eye mask (optional but recommended)
- Water

- Yoga props (bolsters, blocks, straps)
