Yin Yoga & Clay Workshop for Black and brown women
About this Event
Sometimes the most healing thing we can do is get out of our heads and back into our bodies.
So, we're teaming up with Flow and Throw CIC @flowandthrowco for an afternoon of Yin Yoga & Clay Play — two hours to step out of your mind and into your body, through long-held yin postures, guided meditation, and hands in clay.
We settle the mind, quieting the noise so you can actually hear yourself.
We open the heart, releasing what's been held too tight.
We ground the body, moving slow enough to feel what's really there.
We let the spirit speak through clay, without a plan, just your hands responding to what's inside.
This is a space exclusively for Black and brown women to slow down together.
No experience in either clay or Yin is needed. Yin is a gentle form of yoga slow-paced, passive style of yoga practiced sitting or lying on the floor. And as always yoga poses are an invitation, not a requirement.
