In our Yin Yoga class at Joshua Tree Yoga, we invite you to surrender to the serene and meditative practice of deep stretching and relaxation. As you settle into a comfortable and supported posture, guided by the soothing melodies filling the space, the pace slows down, allowing for a gentle exploration of your body and breath. With longer hold times, typically ranging from three to five minutes, each asana targets the connective tissues, promoting flexibility and mobility while releasing tension and stress. The focus shifts from active engagement to passive surrender, encouraging a deepened awareness and acceptance of one's inner experience. Under the expert guidance of our experienced instructors, you will learn to embrace the present moment, honoring both the physical and emotional layers of your being. Through Yin Yoga, discover a profound sense of stillness, nourishment, and the opportunity for true introspection.

Guided by an E-RYT500 Yoga Alliance certified yoga instructor; this is a donation based, community yoga practice. No one is turned away for ability or desire to pay.Class is held at our studio in downton Joshua Tree.
