Year of the Fire Horse

Join Jessica, the original artist and designer of Year of the Fire Horse! A Fairbanks-based artist, wife, and proud mother of five daughters. Inspired by the beauty, strength, and spirit of Alaska, she creates artwork that blends bold color, movement, and storytelling into approachable designs that can be enjoyed by artists of all skill levels. Her work is known for its vibrant energy, flowing brushwork, and ability to capture both whimsy and emotion. When she's not painting, she's busy raising her family, exploring Alaska, and sharing her passion for art through workshops and creative events throughout the community.
This will be completed on a 16x20" canvas. All supplies and step by step instructions are provided. Family friendly, all ages welcome.
Outline of subject will be added to each canvas prior to the event taking place.

By signing up for this event, you’re giving Aurora Artistries permission to snap photos and/or videos for promotional and advertising purposes. Not a fan of being on camera? No worries at all! Just let the lead artist know when you arrive and we’ll happily respect your request—no questions asked.
Can’t Make It? Life happens!
If you’re unable to attend for any reason, you’ll receive a credit to use toward a future like paint night. Credit must be used within 30 days. Must notify 24 hours in advance to receive credit due to the effort it takes to outline images on canvas.
Instructor Curveballs
In the rare event that an instructor has to cancel due to illness or a family emergency, we’ll notify you as soon as possible with the new event date. If the rescheduled date doesn’t work for you, you’ll receive a credit to use toward a future event.
