NU-METAL NIGHT is taking over The Big Eye on August 21 & 22 — TWO FULL NIGHTS of the biggest anthems of the late '90s and early 2000s, delivered by three killer tribute bands making the trip from Florida all the way to Alaska.
This is the era when JNCO jeans were wide, wallet chains were long, and every car stereo was blasting Limp Bizkit, Staind, Korn, and Linkin Park. Whether you lived it the first time or just wish you had, this weekend is your time machine back to the golden era of nu-metal.
THE LINEUP
🎤 NOOKIE — A Limp Bizkit Tribute
Straight out of Daytona Beach, Nookie is Florida's premier Limp Bizkit tribute. These guys have torn up legendary stages from House of Blues Orlando to Revolution Live in Fort Lauderdale, recreating the full red-cap, backwards-hat chaos of Bizkit in their prime. Expect every hit — "Break Stuff," "Nookie," "Rollin'," "My Generation," "My Way," "Rearranged," "Take a Look Around" — delivered with all the attitude and energy of a Family Values Tour mainstage set. Come ready to do it all for the nookie.
🎸 SUFFER — A Staind Tribute
Also hailing from Daytona Beach, Suffer is the ultimate tribute to one of the most iconic post-grunge bands of the 2000s. With gripping vocals, professional musicianship, and commanding stage presence, Suffer captures the sound, soul, and storm of Staind at their peak — from the crushing riffs of "Mudshovel" and "For You" to the haunting anthems that defined a generation: "It's Been Awhile," "Outside," "So Far Away," and "Fade." Bring your lighters (okay, phones) for the ballads — you WILL be singing every word.
🤘 BURNSIDE — A Nu-Metal Tribute
Rounding out the weekend, Burnside rips through the entire golden era of nu-metal in one relentless set — Korn, Deftones, Linkin Park, System of a Down, Papa Roach, Disturbed, and everything else that made you break stuff in your bedroom in 2001. If it was on your burned CD mix in high school, Burnside is playing it.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Two nights of nonstop nu-metal nostalgia. Huge sing-alongs and an even bigger pit. Three full live-band tribute sets. The soundtrack of an entire generation, brought back to life on The Big Eye's stage.
