Fear not! The audition is light and fun! If you love singing and have some choral experience from school or church, you will enjoy YCCS!
Steps to prepare for your audition:
Ensure you can attend rehearsals on Thursday evenings at Oakland Baptist Church, Rock Hill SC, from 6:55pm-9:00pm. Rehearsals begin on September 3.
Ensure both concert dates are open on your calendar - December 6, 2026 and April 18, 2027.
If you plan to audition, please email us at [email protected] to let us know your voice part and which evening to expect you.
Auditions include vocalization, sight singing, pitch retention exercises, and singing the first verse of “Star Spangled Banner” unaccompanied.
