Responding to their work in the exhibition He Ao Āpōpō, He Ao Tea, the Paeheretia Collective will lead an interactive wānanga and performance about their work Taiapa (Fence), which works to reframe prevailing imaginaries of the fence around Tarapuruhi Bushy Park.
At the gallery, members of the collective will talk about their unique contributions and perspectives of the work and how new or hidden perspectives emerge through such collaborations. Later in the day, a tour at Tarapuruhi will allow participants to connect with the visual and auditory inputs that make up the work.
No bookings required, but you will need to make your own way to Tarapuruhi.
