In cooperation with our Spring Cook-Off, we are partnering with Second Harvest of Coastal GA to sponsor a 'service day' where a group of Whalers can volunteer by joining us in helping SH pack up orders and getting them out to folks in need!Our cook-off is a Casserole Cook-Off and we're asking our competitors to double their recipes so we can solicit some extra donations. Then the next week, we join SH for a tour of the facility and to help them in a packing event. We'd also love to show up to this event bearing gifts and SH has also provided us with a list of donations they always seek:
-Canned proteins (chicken, tuna, salmon)
-Canned vegetables
-Peanut butter
-Rice (1–2 lb. bags)
-Pasta and pasta sauce
-Canned fruit
-Shelf-stable milk
