WTF Thursdays: Aikido Workshop

This Aikido workshop, led by experienced practitioners, emphasizes connection, balance, and inner awareness. Working with a partner, who serves as your mirror, you'll experience the energy of the universe and deepen your understanding of body movement and centering. Aikido encourages transformation of the body, evolving through the practice as we learn to undo tension and resistance. Many dancers attend to explore the subtleties of internal movement. The goal of Aikido is to harmonize with an opponent to peacefully resolve conflict, fostering a deeper sense of cooperation and unity rather than harm.

About the Host:

Satoshi Dáte pursuits “truth” and share the idea to the people through his practice in the space between physical world and non-physical world. As people practices, anyone can reach to “As it is – Content” by creating the own path way. This individual connect others, ripples, and creating the better space. Dáte works it as a role model of this philosophy. To be centered, be away from the social frames. Cultivating different feeling and senses, to be able to express others, he practices performance, sound, installation, video, word, martial arts, painting and sculpture.
