Writing at the Wallach

In addition to responding to works of art on view at the Wallach, this series encourages participants to bring their own experiences inside and outside of the gallery space to each session. Through group discussions and generative writing prompts, participants will develop their own creative voices shaped by social and historical context.

The workshops will take place in the gallery on the following dates:

Wednesday, February 25th from 1-2pm

Saturday, April 4th from 2-3pm

Wednesday, April 22nd from 1-2pm

All materials will be provided, including a portfolio for participants to keep as they deepen their engagement with writing.

While not required, registration is encouraged to help us prepare materials.
