Writers Workshop - Memoirs
About this Event
Writing Your Life: A Memoir Writing Workshop
When you talk about your life, do people say you should write a book? Now's the time to start. No matter where you are in your memoir-writing journey, this hands-on writing workshop will help you start, develop, or revise a memoir-in-process. We'll work through a series of writing prompts, exploring ways to get unstuck, using specifics and sensory imagery, and scene building. In this class you'll be generating your own work, make sure to bring a paper and pen.
*Zoom is a watch-only option for people who would like to learn but can't attend in person. Due to class constraints the instructor will not be able to respond or interact with students who are not physically present but welcomes them to watch and participate on their own via a video call.
