Annual Chisago County Manufacturing Career Exploration Event in October!

Our annual Career Exploration Event connects more than 200 local students with Chisago County manufacturers for an exciting, hands-on look at careers in today’s modern manufacturing industry. This high-energy event gives students the chance to interact directly with local employers, explore real-world career pathways, and participate in engaging activities that showcase how products are designed, built, and brought to life. It’s a unique opportunity to spark interest, build connections, and inspire the next generation of skilled workers right here in our community.

This event also serves as a powerful way for local businesses to connect with and inspire the future workforce. By participating, companies can showcase their culture, highlight career opportunities, and build early relationships with students who may become tomorrow’s employees.

We invite Chisago County manufacturing companies to partner with us as event sponsors to help ensure its continued success and impact. Sponsorship not only supports the event financially but also provides valuable visibility for your business across four school districts, community newsletters, and social media platforms. This is a fun, meaningful way to invest in workforce development while promoting your brand.

Please note: We are strongly encouraging student engagement and interaction as a part of the event - consider options for the students on what you can provide as an interactive conversation piece.

Examples of hands-on exploration would be: An interactive activity, build/create a take-away item, a game, an object that demonstrates potential tasks or duties of position, a quiz or trivia related to your business, final product displays and the process of how they came to be or live demonstrations of machines or processes.
