You know Lawrence Wright from his frequent contributions to the New Yorker. He is the distinguished prize-winning author of many gripping and revelatory nonfiction books, including The Looming Tower about Al Quaeda; Going Clear, about the mysterious organization behind Scientology; and Thirteen Days in September, the Herculean effort by Jimmy Carter to broker a lasting peace between Egypt’s Anwar Sadat and Israel’s Menachem Begin.

He is simply one of America’s great journalists.Lawrence Wright is no stranger to fiction.
