Wrightsville Beach Inshore Challenge

The Wrightsville Beach Inshore Challenge, now in its 23rd year, is Fisherman’s Post’s longest-running tournament tradition. This family-friendly red drum event features a relaxed format with live, dead, or artificial bait allowed, no live weigh-in requirement, and no limit on anglers per boat. 

Hosted at Bridge Tender Marina, the weekend includes registration, fishing, weigh-ins, food, drinks, and awards all in one location. 

Anglers compete for cash payouts on an eight-place, single red drum leaderboard, with additional TWTs, special prizes, and bonus payouts for live fish. Family participation is encouraged through junior, lady, and senior angler bounties, while sponsor prizes and giveaways offer even more opportunities to win. 

With competitive fishing, great food, community support, and a welcoming atmosphere for both newcomers and veterans, the WBIC delivers an unforgettable weekend on the water.
