Our base in Kilkeaveragh is located in the heart of the Wild Atlantic Way.
Spirit of Pirates: The village name comes from Captain Theobald Magee, an 18th-century smuggler. The spirit of freedom is still in the air.
Gateway to Skellig Michael: Look toward the ocean where the Skellig rocks rise from the Atlantic – a UNESCO site, a former monastic settlement, and a land full of mystery.
Skellig Ring: We are located on a route that Lonely Planet named one of the ten most beautiful places in the world.
⛵ TRIP TO SKELLIG MICHAEL
As part of our gathering, we are organizing a group trip to Skellig Michael – a legendary island known for its spectacular monastery at the top and as a filming location for Star Wars.
Magic of the Place: Together we will climb over 600 stone steps carved by monks more than a thousand years ago.
Organisation: We take care of logistics and reservations (tickets sell out far in advance!).
Weather: Boat trips always depend on ocean conditions – if nature says “no”, we will find an equally inspiring alternative on land.
Cost: The boat trip is an optional extra (details during booking).

FRIDAY – Entering Silence
17:00 – 18:00 Arrival and accommodation in our seaside house.
19:00 Dinner, herbal tea, and getting to know each other by the fireplace.
SATURDAY – Matter, Body & Landscape
09:00 Breakfast with a coastal view.
10:30 Creative Walk: We will use clay to take texture imprints from tree bark, stones, and shells.
15:00 Workshop “Woven from Nature” – Creating organic sculptures and artworks from sticks, charcoal, and Kerry mud.
18:30 Bonfire under the sky of the Kerry International Dark Sky Reserve.
SUNDAY – Organic Art Drift
09:00 Morning coffee and experiments with natural dyes.
10:00 Farewell to the ocean. You will leave with a clear head and (probably) beautiful traces of creative work on your hands.
